Who is this service designed to help?
The Telecare service has been developed as a way to protect vulnerable people from being contacted by direct marketing organisations via telephone. This service may be suitable for individuals who fall under one of the following categories :
  • The elderly or people with hearing difficulties.
  • Disabled people who may have difficulty, or are inconvenienced by, trying to answer telephone calls.
  • People who suffer from a mental illness, who answer positively to marketing calls, but ultimately have no desire or requirement for the outcome.
  • Shift workers should not be disturbed during normal operating hours due to irregular working patterns.
If you, or a family member of yours falls into one of the above categories, and would like to have your details removed from our databases then get in touch. We will take necessary action, and ensure all of your details are removed from all of our databases with immediate effect.

We take our responsibilities as a data provider seriously and don’t want to supply any details of vulnerable people from being contacted via telephone based direct marketing. Working with other data suppliers and call centres, both in the UK and abroad, we aim to reduce the inconvenience and disruption that telemarketing activities cause for particular individuals.

Elderly people

Elderly people

The elderly are likely to be very troubled and inconvenienced by receiving any telemarketing or sales calls due to difficulties they may have with hearing and sight.

Telecare is here to protect these individuals, and eliminate the challenges that face them.

Disabled people

Disabled people

The Telecare service attempts to protect people who suffer with any kind of disability, or find answering the telephone problematic as a result of reduced mobility.

We are here to reduce the amount of unwanted and unsolicited calls that these individuals receive.

Mental illness

Mental illness

Often people who suffer with any type of mental illness will answer positively to sales and marketing calls, when they have no interest in the offer.

Telecare are wholly committed to protecting these individuals, and helping to eliminate these calls.

Shift workers

Shift workers

Shift workers, and people who work irregular hours often need rest during normal working hours, and are disturbed by sales calls and telemarketing.

Telecare understand this and can reduce the amount of calls that they receive during the day.
